REALTORS® attending PAC Days 2026 have the option to enhance their experience by volunteering during CREA’s REALTORS Care® Day, provided they do not have a meeting with a Member of Parliament (MP) scheduled. Volunteers will travel to a nearby community in Ottawa for an afternoon to provide hands-on support to community members living in social housing through a partnership with Ottawa Community Housing.
Ottawa Community Housing, a member of the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association and a key Housing Canada Coalition partner, is Ottawa’s largest community housing provider with approximately 33,000 tenants and a key funder and maintenance partner for community resource centres that serve vulnerable residents across Ottawa.
What Volunteers Can Expect
- ✓ Lunch and transportation to and from the Ottawa Community Housing neighbourhood.
- ✓ A chance to learn about critical programming that could possibly be recreated in your home community.
- ✓ REALTORS Care® gear and photos of the event to keep the memory alive.
- ✓ Return transportation to the Westin Ottawa by 5:30 p.m. EDT.
